I'm new to these types of ignition sources so I'll admit that my husband and I just love this thing. We're experimenting with what it lights and doesn't, and so far it's lit almost everything we've tried: candles, cigars, scraps of paper, brushes, etc. It can be difficult to get a wick in between. Prongs with trembling hands, but it's not impossible. I love the fact that you don't need a fuel source for this, and it requires a much lighter touch than a regular lighter. We've just received it, so we can't talk about durability or even battery life just yet. But for now we're having a lot of fun with it. It wasn't very expensive so to be honest we didn't expect it to last that long. We hope so!
