Worked great when replacing the alternator on my 2.5 liter Subaru Outback. The original adjuster screw broke when I removed it (one of the joys of working with old, rusty cars), leaving the screw trapped in the "clamp" part (detail at right in product image). Luckily I replaced the adjusting screw and clamp, replaced the alternator and was back on the road. Note: The adjustment screw is very long. I haven't had any gap issues in my car, but make sure the bottom of this bolt doesn't get in the way of your belts or other moving parts.
