Broken before it was tightened. Garbage!

The lag screw broke before it was even tightened. I had about a half inch before the head of the screw touched the bracket. It might as well have been aluminum. Don't waste money and time.

A good tensioner kit to replace a broken bolt.

Bought a '96 Cherokee SE with ribbed belt squeak. Found a broken turnbuckle (see photo). This kit was a snug fit and made it easy to swap out the old bolt assembly and install the new one. highlighted.

Jeep Wrangler 1994 2.5L

If you have a 1994 2.5L Wrangler with no power steering or air conditioning and no access to the grinder, you can use this block to tension the serpentine belt. I couldn't find a factory part anywhere, so I ordered it with fingers crossed. I ended up having to put it on the mill and ended up with a stronger part that worked great.

  • All right!

Jeep 4.0 '99+ Intake Manifold Replacement

This kit from Dorman is just what you need to put the power steering back on to your Jeep after replacing a 99+ 4.0 intake manifold on a Jeep 95 or earlier 4.0. You will need a Cherokee 96+ 4.0 P/S mount to complete, but these items are many times cheaper here than at the dealer and can be found much quicker. I would give them 5 stars if they included the pulley spacer that goes between the idler pulley and the tensioner itself.

Perfect replacement

Worked great when replacing the alternator on my 2.5 liter Subaru Outback. The original adjuster screw broke when I removed it (one of the joys of working with old, rusty cars), leaving the screw trapped in the "clamp" part (detail at right in product image). Luckily I replaced the adjusting screw and clamp, replaced the alternator and was back on the road. Note: The adjustment screw is very long. I haven't had any gap issues in my car, but make sure the bottom of this bolt doesn't get in the…
