I had a snow blower that was leaking gas from the carburetor. It was just old. All seals were bad. I could spend $8 on a carburetor rebuild kit and spend 2 hours taking it apart and putting it back together with new components. Or. I could spend $12 on a brand new carburetor and replace it in 10 minutes. Here's what I did. After installation, the snow thrower immediately caught fire and ran like a dream. In contrast to the original, nothing can be adjusted on this carburetor. This made me nervous, but it seems to be working. Real repairs were made in July. It was 93 degrees outside. Let's see how it works on a cold start when it's snowing. But I feel pretty good about it. The only thing about it is that the fuel line connector doesn't move. It is at a certain angle and cannot be moved. The angle it was at was a little awkward for the fuel line attachment, so I had to re-route the fuel line to get a more natural connection angle.
