Reliable, just works. Very hot
This was the cheapest USBC-C to Ethernet adapter I could find. I was concerned that it might be cheap and not work, but I'm pleasantly surprised and it just works. I've been using it with my gigabit ethernet for over two weeks and I'm very happy with it. I use a Mac Book Pro, so the extra USB ports this unit adds are an *extremely* nice perk. not enough to burn you, but hot enough that you can't hold it for long. Pros: excellent value for money. Additional USB ports, a very nice extra feature. Works with Gigabit Ethernet.
