Review on Maxpow Xterra 2005-2015 Rear Tailgate Struts: Liftgate Hydraulic Shocks Dampers, 2Pcs by Marklen Baeskens

Update November 10, 2020: These pillars are still too difficult to close. The wife keeps complaining and I thought the struts would weaken a bit with daily use. Apparently this isn't the case so I ordered another set of racks hoping they would be easier to close. I can no longer recommend this product. Rating to 2 stars. So far we've gone through several sets of rear sunroof pillars due to normal wear and tear. This particular set is a huge struggle just to close the tailgate! The pressure on these struts is so great that it is difficult to close the tailgate. If you are small or light I would not recommend them.
