This is a good quality template and drill bit for the DIY enthusiast. I converted 22 cabinet doors from exterior hinges to Liberty No-Slam concealed hinges and this jig and drill bit worked really well. I used a hand drill with a string to drill the holes. In the beginning it was a bit difficult. I ran the drill at full speed, burning wood and overheating the drill. This is not a tool error, but a user error! One day I realized that I needed to slow down the drilling speed so the drill would cut through the oak twice as fast without burning smoke and wood. A drill press is the best way to use this type of tool, but it can also be used with a hand drill with a little patience and trial and error. All 22 cabinet doors are drilled and fitted with good precision. I would recommend this to anyone installing these types of liberty loops.
