Excellent product. I read several reviews and learned a lot of tips and tricks - summary below. 1) Ford uses rivets, not screws. Using a small hammer and punch, knock out the centers of the rivets and (slowly) drill out the rest with a 3/8-inch drill bit. extremely patient when knocking out rivets on window panes. it took a lot of little tapping to get them out. 3) many YouTube videos about Mercury Grand Marquis/Crown Victoria - follow these 4) several reviewers have told you nylon/nylon nuts and bolts. Yes I did the same 1/4 - 20 and got some 1/2" and two 1" for the window. I also put a washer in. 5) Do not overtighten the window bolts. in a snug spot and nothing after that - one poster mentioned over stretching and cracking the glass 6) some lube on the inside window rails helps, as long as you have a door, good luck!
