Great little tool for woodworking.

I love this light and have used it to make some raised window boxes and an outdoor table. Aside from the jig, you'll also need an adjustable clamp to hold it in place while you drill, a tape measure to adjust the depth setting on the drill bit, and your drill bit (obviously). While I love this lure I have a few areas that I can improve to make it even better. I've already made many of these tweaks myself, but it would be better (and look better) if they were in the original product. adjustments. I was constantly changing the drilling depth, so I needed an Allen key. I ended up drilling a small hole in the side of the jig so I could always hold the wrench with the jig. 2/ Depth settings are printed on the instructions but should be engraved on the mount itself. I ended up writing down the various setup configurations on one side of the device so I didn't have to memorize settings or follow paper instructions. Since I didn't have a box or anything to keep my wrench or instructions in, I figured I would eventually lose the instructions, so having these settings right on the jig made it much easier to switch configurations at any time. 3/ Other indicators on the device itself would also be helpful. I found I needed to know where the center point was in order to match my measurement marks. I ended up drawing a line down the middle and on both sides to align the template more precisely.4/ Attaching indicators to the drill press. I ended up marking three depth settings with a marker to make installing the nut easier, but I always had to check my configuration with a tape measure. A small depth mark on the bit itself would have been better, so that settings can be changed quickly and easily. Still, this little device was small, compact, and did an excellent job on several of my projects. I didn't know how many times I would use it until I got it. now I can imagine that I don't have that option of attaching two pieces of wood.
