Review on 🛏️ BedRug Tailgate Mat BMQ08SGTG: Perfect Fit for 08-16 SUPERDUTY Trucks with Factory Stepgate, Charcoal Finish by Jason Daves

I installed this tailgate mat on my 2014 Ford F-350 Platinum. The quality of the carpet seems average at best. I really like how it looks after installation, but getting there is problematic. The carpet is "very dense" and it is quite troublesome to stretch it. It can be a little easier in warm weather. Installed when the temperature was about 50 degrees. Holes for screws and Christmas tree clips need to be reinforced, not just cut in the carpet and underlay. One of the bolts went through the carpet. Maybe a bigger washing machine could fix the problem but I couldn't bother with that. I had to cut out 3 holes on the passenger side because the car didn't go all the way through when it was done. The men's step handrail is also more difficult to raise and lower when the mat is in place. This will likely improve over time. I wanted to pick it up and return it but was too disappointed when it ended up in the truck. I only give it 3 stars because it looks nice.
