Review on 🎛️ Nobsound HiFi 6J2 Vacuum Tube Preamplifier Stereo PreAmp with Digital Treble and Bass Tone Control in Black by Jennifer Wilson

I bought this after my Soundcraftsmen PE-2217R preamp broke after 38 years of heavy use. I first bought a used Kenwood Basic C2 preamp off eBay which worked but had many worn controls causing channels to drop out intermittently. He also hummed loudly between songs. Received it yesterday along with Riverstone Audio - Matched Pair (2 Tube) GE JAN 5654W vacuum tubes. I installed them in place of the supplied tubes after reading many positive reviews on Revain. I was concerned if it would work because the price is so low, although the price made me want to try it. I am so thrilled with the performance of this preamp. It actually sounds WAY, WAY, WAY better than my trusty Soundcraftsmen. I'm using the audio output from an old touchscreen PC to power a Nobsound preamp and it connects to my equally old Soundcraftsmen LA-2502 power amp. My amp looks lonely with this little device. I use vintage JBL L-150 speakers which are also 38 years old and the sound is amazing. It's so clear, colorful and full of dynamic range. The channel separation is excellent. Some deals are too good to be true and I think this could be one of them. I was so wrong My first experience with a tube amp and now I'm looking for a reason to replace my power amp. It's time to blow the dust off JBL!
