Review on 🍳 Lodge Manufacturing Co. Lodge Cast Iron Square Grill Pan, 10.5-inch, Black by Christopher Tillman

We now live in an apartment without a grill and miss our charcoal and gas grills. We took a chance with this cast iron skillet, but we didn't have high hopes. We have never made grilled steak. The pan is well finished with no visible flaws, edges etc. Our first use was modest. I bought good ground beef at the butcher and made hamburgers. We were satisfied beyond expectations. The pan left nice grill marks on the meat and created a great hot grill flavor. + for the first try. The second attempt was selected fillet steaks. They're not as forgiving as burgers, but again, everything worked out great. Another +. Then we'll probably try boneless chicken breasts and then more beef, probably ribs or tenderloin. The cleaning was as expected. It took a little work, but not bad. We bought Lodge Silicone Grill Cleaner and they helped. If you are limited to indoor cooking then this is a great product that we highly recommend. We cook on an electric glass stove, which was not a problem. Once the pan was hot it was easy to keep it hot and get the job done.
