They’re expensive for a reason. You get what you pay for

I updated my entire home with these, and they’ve been fantastic. The install was stupid easy, I believe anyone with minimal knowledge on electric work can do it, the app walks you through everything step by step. The apple home kit support works flawlessly. Alexa/google integration works great. Their easy enough to navigate that someone unfamiliar with smart switches can work. If you don’t mind spending a bit of money, these are definitely the switch to buy.

They certainly cost more than some other brands but...they don’t require a neutral wire and they simply work. I’ve used another popular brand that seemed to regularly lose the connection to WiFi. These don’t appear to do that. (If they do, then they reconnect by themselves.) Although neutral wires were required by code when my house was built, most of my existing switched don’t have one. These dimmers solve that. I’ve had nothing but a positive experience for over a year now.
