Green drain 4 inches. Seal for waterless siphon-69040

I just bought 6 more of these for my second home. I installed 3 in my other house 3 years ago so this review is a long term review. This is a great product that does what it is advertised to do. They prevent air and fumes from escaping from your drains. They completely transformed my basement, which stank of rotten drains and flies. They fixed my problems 100%. After 3 years, a lot of dirt and particles have accumulated on it. I try to douse them with clean water regularly to keep the seal clean. One of them is in the sewer where my air conditioner is dripping. There's usually some kind of slime growing on top of that seal and I always wonder if it's still sealing properly because I think the slime is what's holding the seal open. I hand brush it with rubber gloves to make sure it seals. So far so good after 3 years of use. Hot Tips: Apply petroleum jelly to the outer rings of the seal housing to help it slide into the tube. It's also 50 times easier to remove when needed. Do not pull on the plastic bar when removing. Instead, slip your fingers through the gasket and pull the main body from underneath (hands back to back, fingertips pointing toward the pipe wall).
