Review on πŸ’‘ PoE Texas GPOE-1B: Gigabit Passive PoE Injector - Combining 10/100/1000 Data and DC Power on RJ45 for PoE, 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC Connector Accepting 12-56v DC (Power Supply Excluded) by Paul Wilson

Good passive block. You need a 48V DC source to power your 802.3at POE devices.

Good passive unit. Unfortunately, the power supply requirements are inherently confusing due to the various supported POE power supply standards. 48VDC is required for proper 802.3at POE (IIRC 56V may be required for long cables due to voltage drops). 12 VDC and 24 VDC are for devices that use industry standards such as B. Certain Cisco and Ubiquity devices. You will need to check your device's documentation to determine what type of power supply is required and therefore what power supply should be paired with the injector.

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • Good overall, but...
