I got one and it was like going from dying in the desert to dying alone in the desert but with the mirage of an oasis. I knew I needed big guns. I think. I took these bad boys, removed the antennas from the adapter I just bought and plugged these in. Have you seen Bernini's sculpture The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa? This is a reasonable approximation of when Wi-Fi finally worked. However, since they are so bulky, there is a problem. Wi-Fi adapter cables are the worst lengths. Like four inches. Chatting unreliably. So in testing, I made my fourth purchase from Amazon, bought a USB extender and mount, and attached the adapter to the wall. WiFi works now. And I can rest
