Just as good as cooker hoods from other well-known brands

At first glance this appears to be a quality product. I've been using Mitivac since they were invented but my only issue with Mitivac was that the pump valve kept leaking and making a mess. Coming back to that Ares extractor, I've only used it a couple of times and hell multiple pumps have emptied the tank of this Amg ABC tank which is about 4 liters 11 Swiss. I used it to suck off a 722.6 Mercedes gear oil for a 3-4 liter oil change and the thing does what it should. The Ares tank has a mark on the side showing how much fluid has been taken, which is really great when it comes to gears and expensive fluids. I have not tested the pneumatic part of this extractor. I didn't use the hoses that came with it because I already had the slightly longer hoses that I used for servicing. This extractor has a large capacity tank that makes it stand out and is excellent for Mercedes V12 engines that consume 9.5 liters. The only thing I liked more about the Mitivak was the ability to pump out the old liquid instead of draining it.

Cons
  • Something different
