Review on Dorman 924-715 Ignition Switch optimized for Select Models by Chris Burks

Worked great but didn't solve my 2004 Envoy dashboard problem, inexpensive try. It turned out that the solder joints on the back of the cluster were beginning to corrode, presumably GM used lead-free solder for the first few years. Cleaned with alcohol and a cotton swab. The cluster is now working great! The symptoms were that several warning lights and 4 smaller sensors on the right side were not working. The cluster is simply removed with four screws, the back panel removed and the dark solder joints on the pins cleaned. Ten minutes work.
