Very thick cork composition works great!
quality seal for my MGB. The cork compound works well with my aftermarket aluminum valve cover. As with all types of gaskets, including silicone, I highly recommend gluing the gasket to the valve cover first using a sealant such as Hylomar or Permatex High Tack. This is a British made seal so you will not be disappointed with its fit or performance.
