I used this material to patch an EDPM rubber roof that had a few holes in it and some other poorly done repairs. If you're making more than a few small stains, do yourself a favor and buy a metal roller that'll do the trick. It sticks much better and goes much faster. Also, I first used mineral spirits to clean the rubber of oxidation and contamination. The roof isn't leaking anymore and I don't see how it could have come loose. I'm pretty sure it will survive the roof I put it on by far.
