Review on 🔲 Pangda T Square - Optically Clear Plastic Drafting Tool by Brian Trujillo

I purchased this set of acrylic T-Squares for an adult illustration workshop that I taught. They arrived quickly and in great shape! Each ruler comes with a clear plastic case which I usually keep them in. The numbers are quite large, making them easier to read. However, the ink used to print the gauge marks is on the back. It is lifted and touches the paper, leaving considerable black dust on the surface of the paper. At first I thought my paper was stained with graphite. I had to erase the black dust trails all the time. I illustrate my botanical works on 100% thick cotton archival paper. It's not cheap. Eventually I realized it was a T-square, leaving black smudges from the ink used to print the measurements. If you run your hand over the size of the T-Square's back, you'll feel that it's also slightly raised and unfinished, leaving black smudges on your expensive paper! For me that's a deal! I wanted to return it and invest in a more expensive acrylic T-Square Wescott that I originally bought and used for years with no problems, but needed them for my workshop. As a solution, I taped a thick, clear binding tape to the back of each of the 4 rulers to keep the black ink from leaving any marks. It worked! As I can't do returns I keep them as part of my workshop supplies which is fine if they are needed in a pinch. I will not use them myself as an everyday tool. Also, the T-shaped part of the ruler isn't flush with the ruler itself, resulting in a slight gap when placed on the edge of the paper. The edge of the paper is not fixed. This means you can't just use the edge of the paper as a guide to attach the T-square and "square" in a straight line. You have to be careful and put it in its place. Buyer warning!
