Review on 🔧 Sunsong 3401165 Power Steering Pressure Hose Assembly by Steve Cypert

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Some modifications required.

This product is not quite curved as required for the 2000 Honda Accord v6. Some minor "modifications" to the bends have managed to eliminate any hard contact with the crossbar, return hose solid tube or firewall. This re-bending wasn't easy with the hose partially installed, but I decided not to risk damaging the assembly by removing the hose to guess and test the changes in the bends a few times. I manipulated a second kink from the flared end (at a smaller angle) and a small wiggle/kink just behind the PS pressure sensor port (at a larger angle). These issues aside, the P-clamp rubber inserts were perfectly positioned and the overall build quality was good - the bladder flare was well filled with no cracks, the crimped/crimped segments were molded with no cracks, and the included o-ring was made from good blanks with no mold rubber , which remains after the molding process.

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Lots of Stuff
