Review on Cloverdale 33437 Band It Edge Trimmer by Robert Mac

I finally gave up and decided to try the trimmer when I needed to cut 9 adjustable shelves for some bookshelves. Unfortunately, I have to fully agree with all the negative reviews here. It just doesn't cut the edges cleanly. After using it on 2 shelves I had to get out a tried and tested razor blade and clean the edges of the ones I had already used the trimmer on because the trimmer cut almost nothing. Then I just did the rest with a razor. I work a lot with wood, so I know how to use the tools. I tried using the trimmer on an edge I hadn't already glued to something and found the new blades were too dull to even cut the edge cleanly. That's why it doesn't work.
