For use only

My setup for using this product is: Macbook Pro 17 inch (latest model) with 23 inch Apple Cinema Display. This adapter works with native cinema screen resolution. It gets the job done you get a second screen and it looks good but just a good graphics card very low quality if you rely on that for critical color or detail or for games looking for another solution it worked poorly and seemed to be causing the video to lag significantly when working on a multitrack audio project in Logic Pro X. I've worked with calibrated screens for most of my creative career, so I know what a good screen looks like. The gamma is so bad that the OSX dock looks almost white. I don't think the colorimeter is calibrated but it will help a lot. Maybe some. It doesn't even render text well. I would go insane and probably just get sick of staring at that crappy screen all day. If you create creative content, don't buy it. If you need something to run a public kiosk or some other useful task, go for it. If you're saving until you get something better (like me), maybe think of another solution and weigh your costs. I bet on it and it will help me until I think of something else. So meh.Edit: I'm returning this, I thought it wasn't worth the money to get me, it's essentially useless.
