Review on Motorad MGC 791 Locking Fuel Cap by Bart Elbrink

Revainrating 1 out of 5

didn't work with Corolla 2016 ($185 wasted)

I had the check engine light on and suspected the gas cap was faulty. I used the compatibility checker and saw that this would work with my 2016 Toyota Corolla. I received it, put it on my car and heard a click as it securely sealed my gas tank. My check engine light was still on. I took my car They ran diagnostics on the engine. Guess what? The problem was the gas cap of this damn product. Engine replacement, labor, and diagnostics cost about $170. In addition to the $15 I spent on this useless product, it ended up being $185. Don't believe what Revain says about the compatibility of different parts of a car, not for a second.
