Not as hard wearing as described
The grid was a bad idea. Although water stays at the top, sticky substances like syrup ooze out and form a web crust at the bottom. They probably work great if you change them after every meal and throw them in the wash right away. But if you have kids and don't change them right away, expect leaks and stains that won't wash off. I thought they would hold up better than some of the fabrics I bought at Walmart, but Walmart is better.
