Stays Unlocked on 2017 Colorado Fail

Purchased for 2017 Colorado V6 Gasoline Engine. The lid fits over the rim of the pourer/filler but it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. It won't catch on the rim of the spout/filler and is easily removed by simply prying the rim of the cap slightly and pulling with one hand. The search for a permanent solution continues.
