Not great, that's why.

I expected a little more from this kit. It's not very well designed at all. Here are some of the design issues: 1. The speaker pins are thru-holes, meaning they go to the other side of the board where your buttons are! The button silicone pad does not sit flush, making the buttons more sticky.2. Keys. This is the saddest part of the set. They were designed in a hurry so the buttons never sit flush with the case as the designers didn't put any extra effort into creating the button grooves. As a result, the keys always look wobbly. I have an inverted "B" and a sideways "Y" and my directional keys are pointing in different directions. LCD. LCD is good but very bad. It's good because it's a solid 320x240 display. Suitable for retro games. The bad thing is that they haven't done anything to prevent the backlight from leaking everywhere. The backlight is very noticeable and shines through the case and keys. There is also no brightness adjustment (physical).4. Sound - the sound is ok. It's just a small speaker, but that's ok, it's a small unit, BUT: there is NO way to adjust the volume of the device without going into configuration and adjusting the volume manually. I mean, if you could take the time to find a headphone jack, why not add a volume control? Power button - This button is so flimsy that it will deform even if pressed lightly. They didn't add header support to the switch, so I guarantee this switch will be down soon. It bends every time I turn on the device.6. Weird Extra Parts - There were a lot of unnecessary parts in this set. For example, I had a home button, "+" and "-" buttons, and some kind of flat square button. Almost as if it were for a Switch.7 controller. Lack of decent building instructions (even on the wiki page). There are four pictures in total. That's all. No explanation.8. The distribution images suck - they are definitely not optimized for the device and its screen. Imagine reading the word "Welcomeโ€ in 1pt font. Get out your magnifying glass. What I like: 1. The fact that I can charge the device and it shows me the charge level while playing is very nice!2. Let me open ports so I can do manual configuration. I can power it on battery or USB and connect my HDMI and keyboard/mouse to it.3. The metal body is solid and comfortable. correct opinion on the subject. This is fur.
