Tape measure arrived broken (and product recommendations to seller/inventor)

I had high hopes for this tape but it arrived broken and did not display the correct digital measurements that matched the actual tape reading . I have to give the props to the inventor/seller. The seller was very responsive and even gave me his personal mobile number to help me solve my problems. Unfortunately the tape measure had to be returned for a refund but I must thank the seller/inventor for taking the time to help me and refunding my order promptly. It makes a great positive impression which I wanted to share here. Now to the problems with the product. There was a piece of black plastic at the bottom of the tape measure that came loose and was in the box when I opened it. In terms of product design, I didn't like the fact that there was no internal/internal light illuminating the digital display, the absence of which made it very difficult to read (for someone with slightly imperfect vision - I have 20/15 vision ). In terms of design quality, you'll want the digital display readings to be very large and stand out better against the display since it's likely to be used in both very bright and very dark environments. Also disappointing is that there was no "on/off" switch anywhere on the roulette (which I could see). There was only the "Auto Shutdown" function. "Auto Power Off" is a nice feature, but there should also be a large, easily accessible on/off switch for ease of use. The font/letter size of the manual/instruction manual was so tiny I literally had to use a magnifying glass to read it. The tiny instruction manual was also A LOT ambiguous and confusing. There was almost no text explaining how to use the tape measure; very little confusing arrow diagrams and foreign language instructions piling up on a page. The manual should be larger and contain much more information about how to operate the product. Any instruction in a foreign language should be in the appropriate section of the manual. Otherwise, it will only tire and confuse the user trying to find and understand the instruction manual quickly. Although I like the idea of the product. I really hope that the seller will read these (constructive) suggestions and come up with a much better product version and user guide (maybe a youtube tutorial video would be great too and would help sell the product). So this roulette was a really great idea, but the execution just didn't convince me. If the inventor/vendor had implemented these humble suggestions, this roulette would certainly have been far better received. I will come back in a few years and see if the inventor/vendor has made any improvements. Many Thanks.
