Recently my check engine light came on and when I changed the oil they said it was some kind of vacuum or something. But the thing is, they said it was most likely the gas cap. I replaced it with this one and now the light is off. What a great price for a check engine light solution! Yes, and although it doesn't have a cord like the factory cord, I just removed the cord from the old one and drilled a hole in the lid that was about the same size. Make the hole as small as possible so the cord is tighter. I think I used a 5/32 bit, then I took a 7/32 bit and hollowed out the inside edge a bit.
