Chrome Alternator - Alternators and Alternators
The alternator is not a complete replacement for the original. The pulley is short and not as wide as the original. This involved removing the chromed pulley and installing the system from the original block. Additionally, additional shims are required on the back to push the alternator forward far enough to provide proper belt tension. If you like lots of extra work, this is for you. If not, then it won't work. Chevy 305.
