Review on 🐦 Featherland Paradise Creative Foraging Systems: Hanging Pet Feeder for Developing Balance & Coordination by Jennifer Katz

Slightly large for Conures, Small for Revains

My Conure had a little trouble opening the hinged squares. He doesn't have the strength to open them as the loops are very tight. We opened and closed them ourselves to solve them for him. However, the drawer and the pivoting drawer work well for this. This feeding system is a little larger than it looks in the picture and my kennel is tiny in comparison. It easily attaches to the side of the cage wherever you want to put it. But I warn you not to put it under the perches or your bird will play with it, and it needs to be where the bird is eating. There are four drawers in the feeding system, and each drawer opens differently. Two open hinges, one needs to be pulled from the front and the other from the back. The next box has a sliding lid that opens and closes. The last box can be pivoted on one side, i.e. pivoted to open. The entire feeding system also includes a swivel and there is a plastic area next to each box for the bird to stand on and small knobs at the top to have more leverage to pull or for the bird to use its beak to open the boxes. If the bird figures it out quickly, just close the boxes, turn it over and let it start over. I put some favorite dried fruits in crates where my kennel can easily see them through the clear glass and he will spend hours trying to get in before finally succeeding, or he'll give up and I'll show him how to open it, and he enjoys it. . So this feeding system does exactly what it is supposed to do with it. He still can't open the hinged drawers by himself, but if I lift them a bit he can tuck his beak under them and pull them up. it and trying to get his favorite treats. UPDATE: My new G2 rescuer (cockatoo) loves this find toy. He loves opening and closing doors and getting treats from them. I uploaded a video of him playing with it!
