Review on OEM TOOLS 25551 Coil Spring Compressor: MacPherson Spring Installation and Removal, Ultra-Safe Design, Forged Hook and Safety Latches, Ensuring Vehicle and User Safety by Matt Simpsons

Well done make sure it fits your application

This has some nice heavy duty U-bolts too. They fit on my thicker Audi Eiback coils. Overall it's well made for the price. You need space to use it. I ended up cannibalizing it just to use thicker bolts with a different compressor. I only used the U-bolts to clamp the spring to prevent the other compressor from potentially sliding down the slope. In this condition, this compressor did not fit the rear springs on my 2005-2007 Audi A6 models. I'm sure it will work where there is space. Be sure to LUBRICATE the threads with some decent axle grease or better. It comes clean. I recommend it because it's well done and I definitely find it useful in other applications. I first found it on the summit. Low and that was cheaper at Revain (same brand).

Pros
  • Forged Hook
Cons
  • Some Bugs
