Ordered this product online some time after ordering my iMac. Ram came before iMac. So thanks for that. I was a little concerned that the plastic packaging arrived in a bubble envelope without a box as shipping can be so rough; but the packaging was found intact and the RAM intact. Installation is very simple: 1. Press button, 2. Remove cover, 3. Release tabs by lifting RAM slot board, 4. Insert RAM, 5. Re-insert tabs by lowering board, 6. Replace cover . The only problem is getting the RAM into the right slots if you have more than one size in the machine. Instructions included. However, it helped to watch a few of the many videos on the internet. The RAM was recognized immediately and has been flawless so far. I'll come back to this should there be any problems in the future. All in all, ordering, shipping, installation and use were as transparent as possible.
