We use this device for ice fishing, it works very well, nothing flashy but it's easy to use and the screen is easy to read even in bright sunlight with dark glasses. It's compact and light, and we found the battery life to be excellent. I would like an option with a shorter cable to the sensor because. No long line is needed for ice fishing. Now for customer support. We had a problem with the first one and I emailed the manufacturer, within an hour I got a response and after answering a few questions they offered to replace the unit. They shipped it (with a few free extras) and it arrived in two days. No fuss or hassle! They didn't even want to return the failed unit. I think it's great customer service!
