I LOVE them. I always grab hot stuff and never burn myself again. Cast iron is very heavy and difficult to move quickly, so you really need a mitt that can stay in contact with the heat for over 30 seconds. Those tricks. My daughter is a chef and she eyes them and will steal them just because of the great fun color and because then she can throw out all those old cloth towels that are really unprofessional, don't work and get dirty. Wipe these clean! The only thing that could improve them is the magnets built into them, thanks to which they could be attached to the hood of the oven and even easier to grab. Then they will not interfere on the countertop and it will not be difficult to grab them, hang them on a hook, they can just be pulled from the hood. I keep mine in a drawer just across from the oven and under the stove. It's not comfortable, but I don't have a lot of space and I don't want them on hooks. They're easy to put on and cover the entire wrist area when I need to get deep into the oven.
