Perfect fit for 1998 Jeep Cherokee
Added 1" over stock brackets. heavy construction. I agree with other reviewers that switching to a 45 degree mirror mount would be a great mod BEFORE doing the install. However, I was able to access the straight grease fittings that came with the kit. But make your life easier by getting a 45 degree SLR upgrade at your local hardware store before installing it. I had to spread the clevis ears on both clevises about 1/8" apart to get the leaf spring bushings in, but it was easy to do and didn't affect the fit or installation.
