You may receive an older shipment that is hardened or cracked.
The rocker cover gasket kit I received was stiff compared to previous experience with FELPRO gaskets. One of the garments spat when I tried to attach it to the cover screw. The lid gasket doesn't fit the lid snugly and has very little leakage, but maybe that can be solved with some RTV. I had to continue with the installation because the old seals were broken so I couldn't just stop and ask for a replacement. Revain has a great returns and replacements policy, but I would recommend getting something similar from an auto parts store.
