Almost every one of these hinges had a cosmetic defect. Scratches, scuffs, poor paintwork etc. make them second rate. Should not be used on a decorative door. Pay extra and get the Nostalgia brand. So I used them anyway because my current hinges were going gold-silver. These are better but if I did it again I'd get all the nostalgia. Note* The pins are fixed and most of my hinges were adjusted the same way. If you want 3 hinges on the door and 2 on the jamb, you may need to pull the pin out and put it on the other side. Get ready to hit the pin hard a few times to set it in place. (Think French doors that swing open. You have to flip the pins on one side.) My advice: go to a big department store and see the hinges in person before you buy.
