Review on 🔩 Heavy Duty Soft Close Cabinet Hinge - 50lb/2pcs Folding Lid Stay Hinge for Kitchen Cabinets, Wardrobes, Toy Chambers by Brian Olson

Bought two sets and like the others had to refer to the pictures here to get it right. Next I figured out how to install it and it should have installed correctly and crashed on closing the lid. It didn't, and (stupidly) trying to press harder resulted in both hinges popping like plastic. Check the gap and how the hinges *should* be folded, so the problem seems to be in actual use when using a real lid and not folding the hinge with your hands to figure out where to install it. so that it is level when the lid is closed. My goal was an outside hatch in the deck that weighs less than 50 pounds, but that might have been too much for these beautiful but probably not very heavy mechanisms. I have another set that hasn't been used yet. I won't try to use it for anything important, maybe one day I'll need a toy box and then it will probably be good.
