I ordered this product but haven't used it yet because you have to assemble the hinges before you can attach them to the item.

The instructions were TERRIBLE and we couldn't get the hinges to work properly. A hinge fell apart when adjusting. Frustrated, just stop. NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR the frustration.

Bay wall chest without hinges, works great, the Ruyufe seller even included a big thank you note with the product and in his email if the lid doesn't move. not working correctly. You won't see this kind of personalization again - caring company, highly recommended

Perfect fit for my toy box lid. I found that I could not set the device to slowly close the lid in the last third of the shutter. Don't think that friction gates are best for this application. Next time I would probably use a hydraulic/pneumatic shutter.

The material itself is cheap and doesn't seem to hold too much dishes. To make matters worse, the installation instructions were useless. The small flyer is printed even smaller and the instructions do not work. There are only a few parts but without the pictures on Revain I would have no idea how to install the product. If I hadn't torn the packaging I would have sent the product back.

The main product is junk. Don't rely on it to keep your kids safe - luckily I did a test run on a 20lb cap that broke. Email issues directly to them. I opened my package upon delivery and immediately noticed I only had half the fasteners to install two hinges (each reportedly rated at 40 pounds). The tensioning mechanism is useless. I took photos twice and wrote a letter to the company - no reply. Forget wasting money on a company that doesn't pay attention to details (e.g. precision equipment)

Bought two sets and like the others had to refer to the pictures here to get it right. Next I figured out how to install it and it should have installed correctly and crashed on closing the lid. It didn't, and (stupidly) trying to press harder resulted in both hinges popping like plastic. Check the gap and how the hinges *should* be folded, so the problem seems to be in actual use when using a real lid and not folding the hinge with your hands to figure out where to install it. so that it is…

I personally find your product nonsense. I am 77 years old and have been making cabinets and furniture for longer than I can remember. During that time I have used many types and styles of equipment and have never had anything that has frustrated me more than your lid support. I ordered them for a dresser and liked the idea that they should be cushioned so the grandchildren don't break their fingers and hands closing the lid.
