Review on Elevate Your Comfort with the Microsoft 💻 Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Desktop Keyboard and Mouse L5V-00001 by Ada Schwartz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

A few words about the rodent. This mouse is much better than the horror that came with the MS Natural Ergonomic 7000. You can use the rodent, although I wouldn’t trade my SideWinder x8 for anything. So my rodent will go to the expense of parts for a handmade keyboard. A separate digital block can be configured by third-party programs as a multimedia remote control. This additional device is very useful. But if you need a "calculator" in one case - no problem. The digital block is easy to fix even directly above the hole in the center of the keyboard with the second tier (for touch typing, it's the best). To do this, you just need to add a metal darling to the body of the keyboard and a neodymium magnet to the digital block. It will stick very tight. I offer such a perversion only because there is simply no perfect keyboard on the market. I have been searching for many years. Weeds everywhere. But this is exactly what you can do from this.

Pros
  • I use only the keyboard. Very satisfied. Communication is good. Hands don't get tired. Separate buttons for thumbs - very convenient. A large delete is well placed (intuitively in place next to the backspase and the pinky hits easily). In general, tactile sensations are positive. Certainly not a MacBook. After the MacBook, any good clave will be perceived as "so-so". But these buttons are very, very good (I clicked a lot of things, I know what I'm talking about). Fairly quiet, fairly intelligible, minimal backlash (with the exception of the Fn-series). Fast move for fast hands. Everything is fine in this regard. Fingers find everything themselves even after a year of habit to the terrible Logitech wave layout (the one also had a terrible connection). There was also MS 7000 in a couple of years (island buttons are buzzing, so this keyboard is better by an order of magnitude).
Cons
  • The main drawback is that there are few buttons. Two additional buttons below the space bar, which were in the 7000th, are really missing. Copy-paste was assigned to them. It was a masterpiece. Up to the point that now you have to finish it by handmade! I will make these buttons myself. There is still not enough volume control (Fn-toggle switch is a stupid decision). The Fn-row, as already mentioned, is from another universe, the pressing mechanics are not so critical here (about the S35 - a strong exaggeration), the worse is that the top row is 0.5 mm lower, and the separation from the digital row is slightly thinner, the buttons are narrow and they walk like a swing, as a result, when pressed, you touch the row below. This all causes some discomfort. But! This can be forgiven. Not so scary in fact of use, as it sounds in the description. It is not convenient that the cursors are in the very corner (they used to be so that the palm could fit on the pillow, now the hand hangs). But it's not fatal either.
