My truck with factory shock absorbers was very hard to drive. Installed all 4 and it made a huge difference. The big potholes still throw me up, but not as much. I'm towing a 7000 lb trailer with about 800# on my F250 2WD. Adjusting these dampers is what makes traveling with a trailer in tow so comfortable. Turn the back to 5 or 6 and the front to about 2. Another learning curve.
