The wheel bearings are supplied ungreased and cannot be removed.
The scooter comes with unlubricated wheel bearings to keep the wheels from spinning. The instructions say to disassemble the wheels to lubricate the bearings. The front axle is bolted so tightly that when we tried to remove the front wheel, we tore off both bolts. So we didn't even get to test the scooter, it came right back.
