These advance springs are great for entering the timing curve faster, but you definitely don't need both. Replace the stock heavy spring with one from this kit and your full mechanical advance is around 2400 rpm. Using both springs from this kit instead of the factory springs gives you full mechanical advance at around 1200 rpm or literally after you hit the gas. Since you really only need one of these springs, feel free to build a second manifold as a spare, or just sell one to your friend who needs to bend their manifold as well.
