I used this platform for several years, at first I felt comfortable and everything worked perfectly. I did my shopping online respectively and the website interface was easy to use for sending and receiving assets. However, as time went on I had trouble shopping online. The platform was never able to refund my money lost on a purchase in which I was scammed. In addition to that, they limited my account and I tried to contact customer service but I never received any response to solve my problem.
Nowadays despite everything, they have added new functions such as allowing the purchase and sale of cryptocurrencies, which is undoubtedly good. However, I don't recommend using PayPal at all.
Pros
- They have added a new feature to allow the buying and selling of cryptocurrencies.
- The interface is easy to use and the website design is nice.
Cons
- There are many limitations and problems to give a refund in case of being scammed in an online purchase.
- Terrible customer service that takes time to fix our requests or complaints.
- It is not vital to make an investment or save your funds in this payment processor.

The customer care service was one point I forgot to add.
They have proven to be very unreliable and incompetent to serve the growing league of customers PayPal aims to capture.
In the case of a refund, I never had such issues to face so I can't say how bad it was.

Biggest drawback of paypal is you cannot keep money in paypal account as it is mandatory in India to withdraw miney and you cannot even make local transfers to any other paypal account. Still prefer paypal to receive payments as Im consistently receiving payments from lot of sites for last 10 years are so and direct transfers do take time but still better than lot of other electronic wallets.
