Review on πŸš€ Rough Country Throttle Body Spacer: Perfect Fit for Jeep Wrangler TJ YJ, Cherokee XJ, Comanche | 4/6CYL | 1068 by Chris Moody

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Difficult to install on 2.5L TJ.

Not easy to install on 2.5L TJ. The spacer is very easy to assemble. I recommend cleaning the throttle body and sensors while disassembled. However, lifting the throttle cable bracket (see illustration) is not possible without modifying the bracket. Spacer for 2000 TJ 2.5L is in contact with fuel rail. I had to cut off part of the spacer that was sticking out from under the fuel rail. This allows me to only use 2 of the 3 spacers and only have 2 attachment points. Being perpendicular to the throttle cable is not ideal, but very strong with only two screws. Bracket Modification - 3/5 on my difficulty. Requires you to be able to secure the mount with a saw or grinder to cut a piece off. I used screws and a large piece of wood to attach it and an angle grinder to make the cut. It was installed with cold air intake for rough terrain.
