To be honest, it looks a little wobbly. The car shakes a lot, which I didn't expect as it's mostly cast iron. It comes with a couple of different hex wrenches so you can tighten things up as some parts of it come loose with use. At first we thought it was adjustable, but it really isn't. The parts of the filter are easy to clean, but you have to wipe the rest of the device with a sponge. I've already made about fifteen pounds of citrus with this. and they did it relatively well. I usually squeeze the halves twice: once in the traditional way (puree/slice) and then fold and squeeze them sideways to extract as much juice as possible. When I was growing up, one of my aunts had a similar device, but from what I can remember it was much more powerful. I don't recall it swinging or shifting during use. I bought it specifically for its mechanical capabilities and price, but maybe I should have gone for a more expensive (better quality) one?
