Review on 🔝 Highly Efficient Abanaki Ultra-Mini Tramp Oil Skimmer with 1" Wide 8" Long Base-to-Bottom Belt by Jeremy Miller

The description says that the 12 inch belt got a 17 inch belt. Luckily I already had a spare 12" belt. The belt keeps slipping off the top pulley, probably due to the small diameter. I added a guide to keep the belt in line, after which the bottom weighted pulley kept coming loose The final solution is that it works; Replace the chain with a solid metal rod. I used 1" wide x 0.03" thick steel strap. Cut to length, drill two holes and use existing nuts and bolts. Now works it great.Also replaced the 10rpm 30rpm motor also purchased from Revain.Geartisan DC 12v geared motor with eccentric output shaft for $15 had a direct replacement screw (soldering required).Nothing wrong with the original, just slower than I wanted.
