I have to say right away that I'm an entrepreneur, I have about 10 vacuum cleaners and several automatic vacuum cleaners - that's no good. The idea is good, the execution lousy. It contains the identifier 2 7/32. I measured with calipers and got 2 1/32 - no wonder none of my Ridgid/Fein/Makita/Sears hoses fit (did I mention I have a lot of vacuums?). In other words, the difference is 6/32 = 3/16, which is 1 1/2 times the wall thickness of the fitting. This means that cheating with small diameter adjustments is not possible. This goes straight into the trash.
